I graduated from Hamline University School of Law where I was a member Law Review. I am admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Iowa before the Federal and State bars of both states. Before starting my own firm, I was an Attorney at Collins, Buckley, Sauntry, & Haugh in Saint Paul 2002-2008, In-house Corporate Counsel for Buffets, Inc. 2008-2010, and an attorney with Pappajohn, Shriver, Eide, & Nielsen 2010-2012. I was named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics 2006, 2008, & 2009. I am a member of the Cerro Gordo Bar and Iowa State Bar Associations. I am married and have two sons. We live in Mason City but my husband is originally from Manly, Iowa.
